Explanation and breakdown of the filming and post production process behind the new Sacred Grove Experience at the Church History Museum is Salt Lake City. I created many of the digital plants used during the heavenly visitation sequence.

The Lizard and the Ladder from UVUAnimation on Vimeo.
This is the story of a lizard named Leonard and his trusty ladder. Enjoy the 2011 Student Academy Award nominated and student Grammy winning film created by myself and the Department of Digital Media of Utah Valley University.

I did the character effects, and was the lead and one of the artists creating all of the visual effects and simulations.

Shot 1 Recreation of Nuclear test explosion from military documentaries for a music video.
I think I am going to redo all the prefractures, using a vdb/ texture map method I've been learning.
Shot 2 Cargo ship in turbulent seas applying tutorial skills learned.
Both shots completed using houdini.
